Łukasz Studencki
London
With Fabrique since 2024
Off-White's lead designer, ex-CELINE under Phoebe Philo. Central Saint Martins grad, Swarovski scholar. Streetwear Haute couture.
Łukasz Studencki, currently Off-White's lead womenswear designer, has a pedigree in high fashion. After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2016 with the Swarovski-sponsored college award, he interned at Damir Doma in Antwerp and John Galliano in Paris. These experiences provided him with diverse, hands-on design skills.
CELINE immediately hired Studencki post-graduation to design their women's runway line. Working under Phoebe Philo, known for her "perfect tailoring" philosophy, he created meticulously cut, elegant runway pieces that defined Old CELINE's sophisticated yet vibrant aesthetic. In 2019, Off-White, founded by Virgil Abloh in 2013, recruited Studencki to help transition the brand from streetwear to high-end ready-to-wear.
At Off-White, Studencki has developed a mature, refined style featuring fluid female silhouettes and elevated proportions indicative of haute couture, while maintaining the brand's youthful energy through bright color palettes. His Fabrique collaboration draws from autumn wardrobes and warm brown tones. Studencki explains his approach: "It's about finding authenticity in the ordinary, while challenging norms." He emphasizes that "dressing is an independent choice, a search for a deep connection with oneself," achieved through his signature structural designs and superior craftsmanship.
