Designer & Inspiration
Colin McNair
New York
With Fabrique since 2023
Partow's lead advisor, MAXMARA alum. Former Design Director at John Varvatos, VP at Zachary Prell. King's university-trained, known for gender-fluid collections.
CColin draws inspiration from yarn recycling processes. The factory collects post-consumer sweaters, sorting them by fiber type and color to avoid re-dyeing. These sorted sweaters are cut into front panels, backs, and sleeves, then shredded, carded into fibers, and spun into new yarn. He loves using these different colored panels, connecting them to create new multi-colored sweaters.
