Inspiration

The collection is built for a woman in motion. Classic wardrobe staples are reworked through bold color, texture, shape and unexpected detail, creating pieces that feel expressive yet effortless. Playful contrasts between structure and ease, polish and nonchalance, give the collection a modern, character-driven attitude. Designed to work as hard as she does, the clothes are intended to feel instinctive, confident and distinctly individual.

Background

Former Loewe Head of Women’s RTW and Central Saint Martins graduate, with experience at Alexander McQueen, Céline and Tom Ford, shaping polished womenswear with color, texture and ease.

Markus Wernitznig is a Paris-based womenswear designer with over 15 years of experience across some of the world’s leading luxury fashion houses. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, he has held senior design leadership roles at Loewe, where he led the development of womenswear collections, VIP projects, and the Paula’s Ibiza capsule collection.

Prior to Loewe, Markus worked with internationally acclaimed fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Céline, and Tom Ford, developing expertise across ready-to-wear, tailoring, leather, denim, and collection development. Throughout his career, he has combined strong creative vision with technical precision, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of modern luxury womenswear.

His work is distinguished by a refined approach to silhouette, construction, and product development, balancing innovation with wearability while remaining grounded in the realities of how contemporary women dress. ⁠ ⁠Former Head of Design, Women’s RTW at Loewe Led the development of womenswear pre-collections, VIP projects, capsule collections, and the Paula’s Ibiza collection.
