Sophie Azar’s career has been built quietly inside Australia’s fashion industry, not around spectacle but through long-term design work. Now based in Queenstown, New Zealand, she has held roles at Sass & Bide, served as a senior advisory designer at Aje and Christopher Esber, and currently works as a senior designer at SIR the label—positions that place her firmly within the country’s premium fashion framework.

Her strength lies in tailoring that adapts rather than performs. Precise cuts and fluid silhouettes anchor her work, shaped by an understanding of how women move through different settings and roles.
