About
Paris-based print designer from Alexander McQueen to Givenchy's print director under Ricardo Tisci. Consulted for Roberto Cavalli, Neil Barrett, Theory. Elevates collections through storytelling prints.
Torunn Myklebust is the co-founder of one of France’s leading print design studios and has lived in Paris for over 11 years. From a young age, she developed a love for sewing and weaving, often combining it with drawing—skills that would later shape her creative path. Her design journey truly began with an internship at Alexander McQueen in London, where she was exposed to impressive artistic techniques. She was later hired as a junior designer and took charge of prints and fabrics.
Recognized by Riccardo Tisci, she was invited to join Givenchy as Print Director. There, she gained creative momentum and learned extensively from her team and her experience with the Paris Fashion Art Association. She later began consulting for several fashion brands, including Roberto Cavalli, Neil Barrett, Palma, Courage, and Theory.
To her, prints are a key part of elevating any collection. They can tell a story, add texture and detail, bring in vibrant color, work in subtle ways, or serve as standout elements. “I love prints that tell stories or enhance the wearer’s image,” she says.
