Tea Chakhnashvili’s fashion journey began in Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 2007. She continued her studies in Paris, earning a Master’s degree in Fashion Design and Management from IF Paris in 2010, and later completed a Master’s degree in Fashion Design at Domus Academy in Milan in 2012, grounding her in both creative and managerial aspects of fashion.
In 2013, Tea joined Antonio Berardi as a junior designer. By 2014, her talent secured her a promotion to Senior Designer Assistant, where she contributed to ready-to-wear and pre-collections, as well as external projects like the Victoria’s Secret show. In 2016, she advanced to the role of Senior Designer, further expanding her influence in the brand’s design direction. In 2018, Tea joined Alberta Ferretti as a Senior Designer, overseeing ready-to-wear and pre-collections, and contributing to denim, leather, and everyday wear, with a focus on fabric research and graphic design.
Her latest collaboration with Fabrique draws inspiration from the dynamic contrasts of urban life. Tea’s designs blend masculine elements with contemporary tailoring, utilizing denim and leather. The collection, marked by its natural tones and meticulous attention to detail, provides modern women with pieces that are both practical and distinctly feminine, perfect for standing out in a fast-paced urban environment.
