Background

Sang Hee Chun is a Korean fashion designer whose career has unfolded across some of the most influential luxury fashion houses in Paris. She began her professional journey at Givenchy, where she worked extensively on women’s pre-collections. In this role, she oversaw the full design process—from initial sketches to fabric selection—developing a strong command of both creative direction and technical execution.

She later joined Alexander McQueen, where her focus shifted toward leather and fur across runway and pre-collection lines. This experience deepened her understanding of material experimentation, structure, and the emotional power of silhouette within high-fashion contexts.

Chun went on to play a leading role at Loewe, where she rose to senior and head designer positions. There, she helped shape collections that balanced conceptual strength with modern desirability, contributing to the brand’s reputation for innovation and craft-led design.

Her work has dressed A-list figures at major cultural moments, including the Met Gala, and her collections have been described as “revolutionary” by Vogue. She was also selected as a finalist for the LVMH Prize, reinforcing her standing as one of the most compelling voices of her generation.

Now leading her eponymous label from Paris, Chun brings this depth of experience into a more personal design language. Her collaboration with Fabrique, launched in 2022, reveals a softer dimension of her work—one centred on comfort, care, and emotional connection. The collection focuses on pieces designed to support the wearer, proving that fashion can be both expressive and kind, without losing its creative edge.
