Elodie Verdan graduated from the Geneva University of Art and Design before honing her skills with Andrea Crews and Bernhard Willhelm. Right after, she joined Louis Vuitton, where in just six years she rose to senior knitwear designer. Working closely with Kim Jones and Virgil Abloh, she led her own team each season, pushing knitwear beyond convention with refined textures, bold prints, and advanced craft. Elodie approach balances comfort against strong silhouettes, favoring natural palettes rooted in earthy tones.
Elodie's portfolio speaks for itself. In Spring/Summer 2017, the mohair knit sweater she designed became a cult hit—worn by Kate Moss, Harry Styles, and Zayn Malik—and later featured in Dazed and Numéro. Two years later, she reimagined Michael Jackson’s “We Are the World” as a jacquard hoodie that spread quickly among musicians, while Bella Hadid turned heads in her neon sleeveless jacket. Beyond Vuitton, she has also created knitwear for The Row.
Now, Elodie collaboration with Fabrique draws on Italian furniture design from the 1930s–70s, Henri Matisse, and the Vienna Secession. The collection mixes warm tones, soft wrapping shapes, and abstract graphics to channel generosity, sensuality, and restraint.
