Former print designer for Alexander McQueen and Calvin Klein, and print consultant to Off-White. She replaces paint with sunlight, imprinting flowers onto silver-salt photographic paper.
For Aimee Stroud, the Fabrique collaboration begins with a single flower and a patch of sunlight. Working in handmade sun-prints on expired photo paper, she lets shadows from curled petals and jagged sepals settle into their own tonal depth, so each single-toned image reads less like a photograph and more like a record of the flower growing.
