Alice Bastin

With Fabrique since 2026 Known for sculptural tailoring, French beading in leather, and antique lace. Now advising Wedgwood, Chloé, and Gabriela Hearst

Inspiration

Alice Bastin's collaboration with Fabrique is built on one idea: silhouette as attitude. Sharp shoulders, clean lines, elongated proportions, and cropped tailoring take shape through precise sculptural cutting, balancing sportswear ease with urban edge. The pull between structure and fluid movement gives the collection its sharp, modern, effortless edge.

Background

Known for sculptural tailoring, French beading in leather, and antique lace. Now advising Wedgwood, Chloé, and Gabriela Hearst

Alice Bastin is based in London, where she works as a creative consultant across categories as different as Wedgwood, Chloé, and Gabriela Hearst. Before that, she spent years at Alexander McQueen, where she moved from designer to head of leather ready-to-wear.

Her work there stood apart from most ready-to-wear: French beading stitched into leather, antique lace pinned against structured cuts, silhouettes built through sculptural tailoring rather than draping.
