Inspiration
Margaux Dereume’s collaboration with Fabrique begins with her floral art practice. Margaux Dereume works from an independent print studio in Paris, though the space reads more like a painter’s atelier than a conventional design office. Covered with pigments, brushes, and linen canvases, it reflects the way she works: hands-on, visual, and grounded in painting even in a time shaped by digital tools. That choice matters. It gives her prints a sense of depth and movement that feels hand-drawn, not processed.
Her collaborations over the years—including Jacquemus, Aigle, and Repetto—show the range of her language. The work moves easily across brands, but always carries the same signature: rich brushwork, vivid color, and a modern sensibility that avoids looking decorative for decoration’s sake.
