Eunhye Jo's journey in fashion is as unique as her designs. Born in Korea, Jo initially pursued classical music composition at Ewha Womans University, graduating in 2007. But fashion called, and she answered. Jo spent two years at Samsung Art and Design Institute before jetting off to Paris International Academy in 2010 to master womenswear pattern-making.

Back in Seoul in 2012, Jo flexed her creative muscles by opening "BAHN," an interior design studio doubling as a café and restaurant. But it was in August 2014 that she truly found her stride, launching BOURIE. Jo's designs are a delightful mix of deconstructed humor, artistry, and rebellion. This distinctive style has earned her a spot among Seoul Fashion Week's top 10 designers since 2016. She snagged the HERA SEOULISTA Emerging Designer Award in 2016 and followed it up with the New Designer Award for her 2017 AW collection. Now, BOURIE collections debut globally at fashion weeks, catching the eye of media and celebs alike. You'll spot her creations gracing magazine covers from Vogue to ELLE to BEAUTY.

Jo's design philosophy is all about classic styles with a twist. Think clean, sculptural silhouettes paired with avant-garde details. She believes every woman needs a well-tailored, classic-yet-feminine blazer. BOURIE pieces often sport neutral colors, loose fits, and asymmetrical cuts Instead, they whisper modern femininity with a dash of intellect. Each piece is a multidimensional canvas for Jo's aesthetic, revealing layers of complexity that defy simple categorization.
