Lou Menais’s work carries the ease of a chance meeting in the Marais—elegant, lively, and distinctly Parisian. A Paris-born designer, she previously held roles at Marc Jacobs and later served as Chief Designer at Rouje. From silk printed dresses to clean wool coats, her designs helped redefine retro yet effortless French style for the contemporary city wardrobe.
Beyond the clothes, Lou was also deeply involved in the artistic direction of each season, shaping a Paris story with clarity and charm. That point of view comes through clearly in her own words: “My aesthetic fantasy is my friends. They are beautiful and kind. They reflect all the reasons I love Paris, which is why it will always be my favorite place in the world.” It’s a telling line—her version of French style feels personal, warm, and closely tied to everyday Paris life.
