Inspiration

In her collaboration with Fabrique, Toqueux builds on the ease and polish of French style, viewed through a modern-classic lens. The result is a collection designed to shift naturally from the city to the beach—pieces that feel relaxed precisely because the design behind them is so considered. There is something emotional, poetic, and lasting in the mood, but styled well, it reads as genuinely modern. At its core, the collection responds to the way we live now, with a measured note of nostalgia.

Georgine Le Toqueux is based in Paris and built her career at major French labels including Sonia Rykiel and Sézane, where she worked in ready-to-wear design. Her work carries a clear French sensibility, and she has created many standout pieces that became especially popular in Paris.

More recently, she launched her own independent label with a more personal point of view. Through a modern lens, she brings her North African heritage more visibly into the work, using color, embroidery, and silhouette to shape that expression.

The result feels both grounded and distinct. North African references come through with clarity, but never in a heavy-handed way, giving the clothes richness, character, and a point of view that stands out within Paris fashion.
