Inspiration

Juraj Straka reimagines floral nostalgia through blurred roses and soft, atmospheric prints. The collection captures a sense of time passing, translated into fabric. It extends his romantic design language, celebrating a woman who blooms on her own terms. Here, femininity is self-possessed and power needs no permission. The result is intuitive, evocative, and worn with feeling.
Background
Known for bold, expressive prints and a vivid sense of color, his work traces a path through Hermès, Schiaparelli, and Dries Van Noten.
Juraj Straka is one of the few designers who has made print feel central. Known for his lush, daring prints. His fascination with color can be traced back to his mother, whose bright, meticulously handmade clothes helped shape the visual foundation of his work. That instinct later found discipline in Hermès’s silk print and dye atelier, before leading him to roles at Schiaparelli and Dries Van Noten, where his talent for print, color, and ornament found a larger stage.
Few designers have made print their calling card with this much clarity or staying power. Over more than a decade, from Lyon to Antwerp and onto the global fashion stage, Straka has pushed print beyond decoration and into something far more authoritative: a language of image, craft, and artistic expression in its own right.
