Background
Former Isabel Marant senior designer known for sculptural draping, couture-level French embroidery, and a more polished, modern take on bohemian dressing.
Livia Schriber is a Paris-born designer who joined Isabel Marant right after graduating from Parsons. Even as an intern, she showed runway-level design talent, especially in a nearly sheer mesh piece finished with striking French bead embroidery. That work led to an exceptional promotion to senior designer, where she went on to help develop four main collections a year.
Beyond embroidery that approaches couture-level craft, she is also known for turning classic draped three-dimensional cutting into romantic, fluid dresses. Those soft, sculptural long dresses became one of the season’s key silhouettes, and helped reinterpret Isabel Marant’s bohemian DNA through a more refined, modern lens.
