Former architect, Central Saint Martins graduate under Louise Wilson OBE. From Bottega Veneta to Burberry, his sculptural tailoring defines Hermès womenswear, gracing Paris runways and Vogue covers with fluid silhouettes and modern elegance.

Mark Scartani currently heads the Flou design team for Hermès women's high-end apparel in Paris. His distinctive approach uses sculptural tailoring to reimagine feminine elegance. His runway pieces instantly capture attention in Paris fashion shows – whether sequined chiffon gowns or understated black silk blouses – all featuring fluid lines. Even resilient leather transforms into flowing draped silhouettes through his cutting techniques.

Behind his impressive career lies exceptional skill in shape creation. Before training in menswear at Zegna, Scartani began his creative journey studying architecture. He later earned his master's at Central Saint Martins under the renowned program director Louise Wilson, OBE. Wilson's rigorous "high-pressure studio" methodology trained designers to face industry challenges, shaping contemporary fashion's creative landscape. Fellow alumni include Alexander McQueen, Phoebe Philo, and Jonathan Saunders. After graduation, Scartani was immediately invited to join Bottega Veneta before heading Burberry's outerwear design team. His nuanced understanding of fabric tension appears in meticulously tailored wool jackets and classic Trench coats. He materialized Tomas Maier's "stealth luxury" concept and modernized Burberry's century-old trench coat system without sacrificing functionality. His dedication to craftsmanship has left permanent marks in runway shows and brand archives, with his pieces appearing on major fashion week runways and Vogue covers.

The Fabrique collaboration draws inspiration from cactus flowers, honoring Italian architectural legend Gae Aulenti. The strength shown by plants thriving in harsh environments resonates with Scartani – like desert roses symbolizing women's flourishing creativity that breaks boundaries. The collection continues his architectural silhouettes, merging structured cuts with soft fabrics to create professional women's looks that balance strength with softness.
