Designer & Inspiration
Tokyo-based designer Irene Choi built her name at Korean label Andersson Bell, where she led womenswear design across four seasons. Her work leans into deconstruction, collage, and distressed washing, pulling references as varied as Mucha's paintings and Seoul's skyline into wearable pieces. Her designs have shaped a new wave of K-fashion, worn by artists including BLACKPINK's Lisa and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
Irene Choi's collaboration with Fabrique reinterprets denim through what she calls a "new attitude" , a softer take on her usual language. A dusty, grey-toned rose wash and panels of soft suede pull back the sharpness of her signature deconstruction without abandoning it. Rather than tearing down convention outright, the collection simply lets go of denim's stricter rules, giving each piece an easy warmth suited to the colder months.
