Background

Meghan Roche is an American fashion designer and co-founder of RMD2, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to her work. Her career spans senior creative roles at some of fashion’s most influential labels, including Proenza Schouler and Diane von Furstenberg, where she served as design lead and helped shape collections known for their modern femininity and strong point of view.

Roche has also collaborated with a wide range of brands, from luxury houses to cult contemporary labels, including Christopher Kane, The Row, Thom Browne, and Réalisation Par. Her collaboration with Simon Miller became an instant sellout and was widely praised by Vogue and Women’s Wear Daily as one of the season’s standout collections.

Based in Los Angeles, Roche draws continuous inspiration from California’s light, landscape, and cultural openness. Her design language reflects this environment—where relaxed silhouettes meet deliberate craftsmanship, and ease never comes at the expense of detail. Her work often weaves together references ranging from Hollywood’s golden age to intricate surface treatments, creating collections that feel layered, expressive, and cohesive.

Roche’s designs have been worn by influential cultural figures including Billie Eilish, Timothée Chalamet, and Rosalía, appearing on the covers of Elle and GQ. These moments underscore her ability to translate a relaxed design philosophy into culturally resonant fashion.

Her collaboration with Fabrique, launched in 2024, continues this exploration. Each piece is conceived as its own narrative—combining modern silhouettes, dynamic prints, and an intuitive sense of movement. The result is a collection that expresses confidence, individuality, and California’s free-spirited energy through thoughtful, wearable design.
