A graduate of the European Institute of Design, she quickly made a name for herself in the industry, holding significant positions such as chief designer for renowned brands like GALLIANO and Jean Paul Gaultier. Her career reached a notable peak when she became the artistic director for Pierre Balmain in 2013, a position that only a few can only dream of.

Valente's design style is characterized by a bold use of color and geometric shapes, balancing edginess with elegance. Her collections often reflect a modern, sexy aesthetic with nods to the 90s rock and roll era, distinguishing her work from more conventional designs.
