Inspiration

Alex Rose designs with control and clarity—minimal lines, refined construction, and an art-aware sensibility that stays wearable. She’s London-based now, running her own independent studio, but the discipline in her work comes from a decade inside Alexander McQueen’s couture world.

Rose spent 10 years at McQueen as couture director and co-founded the brand’s haute couture atelier. Working alongside the creative director, she helped develop each special collection and built many of the show’s key looks. Her pieces have also shown up where scrutiny is unforgiving: Kate Middleton and Nicole Kidman have both worn her work to evening events.
