Markus Wernitznig is a Paris-based womenswear designer with over 15 years of experience across some of the world’s leading luxury fashion houses. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, he has held senior design leadership roles at Loewe, where he led the development of womenswear collections, VIP projects, and the Paula’s Ibiza capsule collection.

Prior to Loewe, Markus worked with internationally acclaimed fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Céline, and Tom Ford, developing expertise across ready-to-wear, tailoring, leather, denim, and collection development.

Throughout his career, he has combined strong creative vision with technical precision, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of modern luxury womenswear. His work is distinguished by a refined approach to silhouette, construction, and product development, balancing innovation with wearability while remaining grounded in the realities of how contemporary women dress.

Former Head of Design, Women’s RTW at Loewe Led the development of womenswear pre-collections, VIP projects, capsule collections, and the Paula’s Ibiza collection.
