Her decade-long journey began at Italy's Marangoni Institute, continued through a master's at Rome's Accademia di Costume e di Moda, and reached a pivotal point at Chanel's coveted Maison Lesage workshop—one of the fashion house's seven elite ateliers—where she mastered high embroidery techniques that would define her aesthetic.

At Dior, Giovannini refined her vision while working directly with the creative director. Her haute couture designs merged precise tailoring with intricate embroidery, establishing her reputation for meticulous craftsmanship. Giovannini's "Beyond Borders" collection draws from Italian writer Agnese Grieco's words: "Boundaries for sirens are blurred, liquid-like and airy, because sirens once dwelled in the sky."
