Valeska Valentina Jasso Collado impacts the fashion industry signifcatly through her tangible contributions to avant-garde and wearable art, going well beyond her already impressive titles. With a resume that includes the roles of Senior Design Manager at JACQUEMUS, Design Director at Rosie Assoulin, and Head of Ready-to-Wear at Cult Gaia, Valeska continues to consistently pushed the boundaries of fashion.
Starting in 2015 at JACQUEMUS, she was working closely with Simon Porte Jacquemus designing the collections and managing their development processes. By 2020, her leadership at Cult Gaia further showcased her talent for incorporating experimental materials and forward-thinking designs into contemporary collections.

Valeska first made an impression using unconventional materials like metal, foam, and latex. Dezeen notes that her choice of these materials helped her create dramatic, sculptural forms that recall the bold shapes of the 1980s Milanese design movement led by Ettore Sottsass. During her time working with Simon Porte Jacquemus her approach matured, but still incorporated unique geometric proportions that blend art with functionality. Today her refined fabric choices continue to play with structure and drama, enhancing the silhouettes of her designs.

Valeska's work in collaboration with fabrique draws inspiration from a diversity of proportions, creating minimalist yet striking shapes. The use of custom crafted fabrics support the effortlessness and ease of the designs.
Her ability to balance dynamic outlines with an attention to detail creates a profoundly refined effect that can be felt in each piece.
