Delphine Baverel’s journey in the fashion industry is one of continuous evolution, grounded in her deep expertise and commitment to the craft of knitwear design. A graduate of Belgium’s prestigious La Cambre, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Fashion Design by 2015, Delphine’s career began at Causse Gantier, where her innovative approach to creative design first gained recognition. Her subsequent roles at major fashion houses like Balenciaga and Isabel Marant allowed her to refine her craft, particularly in knitwear, contributing to women’s, men’s, and Étoile lines. These experiences cemented her reputation as a designer with a unique ability to blend traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
In 2017, Delphine co-founded a clothing line, a venture that showcased her ability to independently apply her design philosophy. Her work at Lanvin and Loewe further demonstrated her capacity to push the boundaries of knitwear, focusing on both technical excellence and artistic expression. Delphine’s designs are characterized by their meticulous craftsmanship and the use of high-quality materials, ensuring that each piece is not only visually striking but also functional and durable. Her commitment to these principles has earned her a respected place in the luxury fashion industry, where her contributions continue to influence modern knitwear design.
Delphine’s latest collaboration with Fabrique draws from the rich cultural heritage of the Pyrenees mountains in Southern France. Each piece in this collection is named after a specific location within the region, known for its traditional woolen garments. By utilizing premium materials like wool and mohair, Delphine has created a series of knitwear that embodies both the ruggedness and elegance of the Pyrenees. The collection’s modern design reflects her ability to infuse traditional craftsmanship with contemporary flair, resulting in pieces that are both timeless and relevant. This collaboration underscores Delphine’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage while pushing the boundaries of modern fashion.
